Usually, the Interlocking Kelly bar is applied to strong hard rock formations. It adopts six-ribs and several sets of drive pressure key welded onto their surface. Also, inner keyboards are made from high-tensile steel under special heat treatment.
Six -ribs makes the whole set Kelly bar light weight,high stength and linearity of the single pipe, the inner and outer layer collocate reasonably, with good wear resistance plate.

The Interlocking Kelly bars manufactured by KR Drill can be fully locked by mechanical locking system on each section. 
High strength steel tube material is procured and duly heat-treated before production, which enables the Kelly bars to work well under maximum torque.  
Kelly lock and guides inside Kelly joints are made in highly wear-resistant material for a prolonged life.  
Special tooling is set up to ensure the straightness of tubes during welding process.
 
Kelly bar adopts the international advanced six-ribs distribution technology.
The inner keyboards and outer keyboards are manufactured from overall forging and pressing high-tensile steel .
The special heat treatment which make this style Kelly bar with high abrasion resistance, compression resistance and excellent welding properity.
Kelly bars can be equipped with specially designed springs or pressure plates for shock absorbing purpose.
Reinforcement Ring Structure We have innovatively added a reinforcement ring structure for each terminal joint, which is heat-treated to effectively reduce the risk of cracking the pipe during drilling.
